Next Stop......NASHVILLE.

I loved working on this order! It's for a new little one that is due any day now. His momma sings country music and I think this gift is going to be right up her alley!

  1. Totally random, but I was curious how you came up with the name Ellis??? Our daughter's name is Ellis Kennedy Asbury. My mother's maiden name was Ellis and my MIL's was Kennedy. And I had always since I was very young told my mother that I was going to name my first girl Ellis. I have never met anyone else who has named there daughter this and I was just shocked when I saw it!!!!

  2. You know, I wish I had some fantastic story to tell ya, but we just loved the name. Before we knew "she" was a "girl", we decided on the name Ellis. After the gender reveal, we decided on what middle name to go with. I taught school for three years before becoming a full-time momma, so my list of "no-no" names was extensive! HA! I was also one of seven Sarah Elizabeths in my graduating class, so my children were destined to have unique names! :)

  3. That is great! I LOVE the name and we get soooo many compliments on it. Actually, while we were pregnant with her and people would ask what we were going to name her they would say something along the lines of...oh that is a great name I will have to tell my(insert what ever) because she is pregnant. It made me so mad so we started telling everyone that we were naming her Ruby May!! Our other daughter is named Brett Elizabeth. She was going to be a Brett either way. It was my husbands turn to pick the name so she is named after George Brett...my husbands favorite baseball player.
Sorry to take up your time. It is just so uncommon to see some one else with that name. I think you have GREAT taste!!!!!!!
